If your stove door is starting to squeak or is becoming difficult to open and close, try removing the door off the hinges and adding a small amount of copper grease onto where the door hangs onto the stove. This should stop the squeaking and stubborn resistance from the door as it lubricates the two surfaces allowing it to move freely. The reason why you should use copper grease is because it is able to cope with high temperatures unlike products such as WD-40
